Trainhardstaystrong

The studio

A 2,100 sq ft floor, four racks, a clock.

Trainhardstaystrong sits at 190 Middle Road, #09-07, Fortune Centre, Singapore 188979. The room is built around four power racks and a 14-spot cap. This page is the inventory, the hours, how to get here, and the rules that keep the hour on time.

Floor

What is on the floor

The studio opened in 2026. The floor is one room: racks, platforms, dumbbells, and two engine machines. Changing space is a small annex. There is no café, no retail wall, and no second room for classes.

Access

How to get here

Fortune Centre is at 190 Middle Road. The nearest station is Bugis (East West and Downtown lines). Bras Basah (Circle line) is the next option. From Bugis, walk along Victoria Street or Queen Street toward Middle Road; the walk is about eight minutes at an ordinary pace.

Buses stop on Middle Road and Victoria Street. There is paid parking in Fortune Centre; we do not validate tickets. If you cycle, use the racks at street level — there is no indoor bike store in the unit.

Arrive in training kit or change in the annex. The session starts at the booked minute. Late arrival shortens your hour; it does not push the next person’s start.

Table: hours
Day Open Last session start
Monday–Friday 06:00–21:00 20:00

Session close

Mats, then out

The last ten minutes of the hour are written: a short cool-down, the log, and the next-session load. People sit on mats for that close. It is not a group stretching class and it is not optional logging time. If the main lift ran long, this is the piece that gets shorter, not the log.

Movement prep and the close happen on mats. The main hour is still individual sheets.

Rules

House rules

The rules exist so 14 people can share four racks without inventing etiquette each hour. They are the same for coached tracks and Open Floor.

Sheet

A printed sheet is on the clip before the first working set. No sheet, no lift.

Clock

The hour ends on the clock. The next slot starts on time. Do not hold a rack past the close.

Collars

Every loaded bar has collars. Bumper plates may be dropped from hip height. Iron plates may not.

Chalk

Chalk stays in the bowl. Wipe the bar. Return dumbbells between sets.

Phones

Phones are for the log photograph after the session. They are not a speaker.

Guests

No unpaid guests on the floor. Assessments are booked. They are not walk-in trials.

Engine note

Conditioning is prescribed, not improvised

The rower and the air bike are the indoor engine. Some Hybrid 12 and Conditioning Engine blocks also write an outdoor piece — a run or a walk-run — on the same sheet. That piece is not “whatever is outside”. It has a time or a distance. The photograph below is the type of station used for engine work, not the Middle Road floor. The Singapore floor is indoors at Fortune Centre.
